Moscrop Gymnastics Shines at Provincials with Podium Finishes and Team Success

Last week, the Moscrop gymnastics team competed at the provincial championships, delivering an outstanding performance and representing the school with pride. With 16 athletes competing, the team demonstrated incredible skill, perseverance, and teamwork throughout the competition. By the end of the event, Moscrop brought home three podium medals, a level trophy, numerous ribbons, and many unforgettable memories.

A special congratulations goes to our athletes who placed in the top three all-around in the province, an incredible achievement at such a competitive level. Hannah Ip (Grade 11) earned 3rd place all-around in the Level 1 Senior category, showcasing strong performances across all events. Ryan Wu (Grade 12) had an exceptional competition, finishing 1st place all-around in the Level 2 Boys category and demonstrating remarkable control, precision, and confidence throughout his routines. Mia Guo (Grade 12) also delivered an impressive performance, placing 2nd all-around in the Level 2 Senior category after a series of strong and consistent routines.

Beyond these podium finishes, many other members of the team earned ribbons and personal best results, reflecting the hard work they have put in throughout the season. Competing at provincials is a major accomplishment in itself, and every athlete contributed to the team’s success and positive energy during the competition.

As a team, Moscrop Gymnastics finished an impressive 4th overall in the province, a result that highlights the strength and depth of the entire program. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of the athletes, the support of their coaches, and the countless hours of training that led up to this competition.
